WHAT WE KNOW

 

We hold the following convictions.

1. First, there is a difference between being busy and bearing fruit. Most parishes are busy, but few are bearing lasting fruit.

2. Second, most priests struggle as leaders because they try to do it without God. Few have integrated spirituality with leadership. Yet, God longs for priests to do all things with him.

3. Third, at the wedding of Cana, Mary said: “Do whatever he tells you.” Imagine for a moment what the Church would look like if every priest was leading “from his ears,” doing only what “he tells you.”
