The Ministry for Priestly Support offers the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola in an 8-day (or 5-day) retreat format.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Priests will have exclusive access to a privately owned beach house for the duration of their stay on the island.

 

MEALS

Retreatants are responsible for their own meals as part of rediscovering the art of living and the joy of cooking.

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Priest retreatants should be ordained for at least three years, although exceptions can be made through mutual discernment.

• Generally speaking, the Ministry for Priestly Support does not work with seminarians.

• Retreatants should strive for consistency in their holy hour, specifically dedicating 60 minutes to Scripture-based relational prayer.

• Retreatants must be open to Ignatian contemplation, also known as imaginative prayer.

• An interview via Zoom is required as part of the application process.
